Bruce Chester believes in transparency and in being accessible to all of our voters in the 2nd Worcester District.

Bruce pledges to maintain a priority on individual rights in keeping with the beliefs of many of our founding fathers and mothers and with the traditions of our country.

Bruce further pledges to respect the desires of his peers and their constituents in other jurisdictions when supporting legislation and when seeking support for his own proposed legislation.

Bruce has a proven track record, as an entrepreneur, educator and as a veteran of the United State Army for leading by example with the highest regard for moral standing.

He reminds voters that his opponent, Rep. Jonathan Zlotnik proposed legislation that would have eliminated the Cape Cod Commission, an independent political body maintained by other voters in a district far from his own.

Rep. Zlotnik did so as a political favor to a campaign donor and developer who desired a project in that district.

For these two reasons, Bruce asks that the voters, regardless of political position and party affiliation carefully choose this November. The sovereignty of districts should be respected. Doing political favors for donors, let alone favors that could have a negative effect on a people who didn’t vote for you is simply not in keeping with the traditions of our republic.
